Just like previous videos, Thuy Nga’s No Tinh reused the same old songs over and over again. The performces are lousy except for Luu Bich. Damn! That girl got style. Love her performance with Nguyen Hung. Her outfit is mad sexy and the way she shakes that ass! hummmm. On the other hand, Nguyen Hung dances like a fag. I mean, he’s a great dancer when it comes to ballroom styles but he sucks with freestyle and club. Another good part of the video is the way Nguyen Ngoc Ngan hosted the show. Such an intelligent man. Learned so much about the Vietnamese history from him. Other then that, the whole video blows.

We are in the process of selecting the right person for the web design position at Vassar. Resumes are pouring in like crazy. We have looked at around 15 resumes from hundreds of them. So far we haven’t seen anyone uses XHTML or CSS layout. We haven’t found any work that inspired. No one has come close to Keisha. It’s going to be a hard one.

I’ve been extremely busy these days. Currently working on three web design projects for Vassar. Just created a new theme for iLoveNgocLan.com. That site takes a whole lot of my time but I am glad to see my hard work is appreciated. I spend more time on that site then this. Oh well, what I can say? I love Ngoc Lan and I will do anything for her.

My lovely visitors, you won’t have to hear anything from me for the whole week. Aren’t you glad? I know you will miss me (yeah right!) but I need a break. You all know I have no life but I try to do things once in a while. Yep, I’ll be heading off for week. I have no plans. Probably going down to Virgina Beach or do something with my family. In the article Put Weblogs to Work, the author compared 7 of the top weblog systems such as: Pyra Labs’ Blogger Pro, the open-source GeekLog 1.3.7, Lifli Software’s iBlog 1.2.5, the open-source LiveJournal, Six Apart’s Movable Type 2.63, pMachine’s pMachine Pro 2.2.1, and UserLand Software’s Radio 8.0. He didn’t mentioned anything about b2. B2 is one of the best blog tool out there. It is one of the easiest to install and customize. It has all the great features that all the other blog tools have. B2 still rocks, baby!

If you are new to CSS world, Cascading Style Sheets: The Designer’s Edge is the right book for you. The book is easy to understand so you will be able to pick up css quickly. Molly’s writing style is clear and concise. Her clean and attractive personal site demonstrates her skills on css. Oh wait! Her site is designed by 1976design. Whoops! Not practices what she preaches. Usually I don’t recommend people who doesn’t practice what he/she preaches but this book was well written so I made an exception. Once you’re done with this book and would like more advance css book, I highly recommend, Eric Meyer on CSS: Mastering the Language of Web Design. His personal site, Meyerweb really demontrates his skills and mastery on css.

Well, what have I stumbled upon?! Another clean and attractive site called Ixnay from our very own…, you know who. I remembered the first time reading the touching story about her ‘Ong Ngoai.’ I was inspired and hooked on her site ever since. Nice job, pal.

Just finished watching 30 episodes of Twisted Fate, a Chinese soap opera. It’s a great film. I really like the evil character. She has it all: money, beauty, intelligent, independent and evil. She is currently a top executive for a large firm but her goal is to be the CEO of the company and she is willing to sacrifice everything to reach it (even her love). She is good at hiding her emotional and is best at using men for what she wants and toss them after she is done. She works hard for everything she got and absolutely independent. At the end, she lost everything and even her life. She had no friends or family members left. Even though it’s just a movie, I can’t get her evil character and that pretty face out of my mind.

My Gosh! listening to Ngoc Lan brings back so much memories. Chuyen Phim Buon, Giong Song Que Huong, and Xin Thoi Gian Qua Mau are always on my mind even though I haven’t listen to them for years. I am so glad that Ngoc Lan’s fans still have these songs for me to reminisce the good old days. Chi Lan, I wish you’re still here to read all the lovely poems your fans wrote about you. They touched my heart with their expressions just like the way you touched mine with your voice. I miss you so much and will mourn till I join you.
