I think it’s a stretch to, in any way, to say that she’s got the experience to be president of the United States.

John McCain has raised serious questions about whether he has the character to lead the nation. He has defaced his beloved military code of honor. He has run a dirty campaign.

Nope, he doesn’t have the character to lead the nation and yes, he runs a real cheap and dirty campaign.

In Palin’s first town hall meeting, a question specifically asked for her specific skills on foreign policy and take a look at her answer. Now you know why the McCain campaign doesn’t want her to go near the press.

A Spain reporter: Senator, finally, let’s talk about Spain. If you’re elected president, would you invite President Zapatero to meet with you in the White House?
McCain: Honestly, I have to analyze our relationships, situations, and priorities, but I can assure you that I will establish closer relationships with our friends, and I will stand up to those who want to harm the United States.
A Spain reporter: Okay, but I’m talking about Europe – the president of Spain, would you meet with him?
McCain: I will meet with any leader who has the same principles and philosophy as us in terms of human rights, democracy, and freedom and I will stand up to those who do not.

Ouch. McCain either doesn’t know who Zapatero is or he doesn’t know that Spain is one of the key allies in fighting against terrorism. Age is catching up to him.

Are McCain and Palin lying their way into the White House? Yes, they are not telling the truth. It seems like lying is the only way McCain thinks he could win this election. What a shame.
