Glad to see a copy of Matthew Butterick’s second edition of Typography for Lawyers on the reference shelf in the Law Library. Every law student should be required to read this book in their first year because “Good typography is part of good lawyering.” Butterick is dead on.
Carr is a Funny Business and he is not to be heckled. The enjoyable moments of his routine were when he made fun of his audience members. He has a weird-ass laugh, but I wouldn’t say that at his show. That bloke will put me to tear. His special is enjoyable.

Thằng Đán thì ngủ lăn lộn tứ tung. Có lúc đang ngủ bị nó đạp vào mặt như bị thiên lôi đánh. Còn thằng Đạo thì lúc nào cũng kè sát vào người. Đêm nào tôi cũng thức giấc ít nhất là ba lần. Dắt thằng lớn đi đái hoặc bị đập vào mặt tỉnh ngủ. Có lúc tôi ngủ riêng một gốc giường nhưng thằng Đạo sẽ tìm đến và nằm kế bên.
Bảo tụi nó ngủ riêng lâu rồi nhưng không đứa nào chịu. Tối thứ Bảy vừa rồi tôi cho phép chúng nó xem iPad trước khỉ ngủ và được ngủ chung với món đồ chơi tụi nó thích nếu hai đứa ngủ riêng. Tụi nó đồng ý ngủ riêng. Tuy được ngủ một mình tôi cảm thấy nhớ nhớ và thiếu thiếu. Ba giờ khuya, thằng Đạo đi đái xong chạy qua kiếm tôi. Tôi qua phòng ba cha con ôm nhau ngủ chung.
Đêm qua tôi nằm một mình đọc sách đến 12 giờ rưởi khuya vẫn không ngủ được nên chạy qua phòng ôm tụi nhỏ mới ngủ được. Bây giờ người thiếu hơi là tôi chứ không phải hai đứa nhỏ.
Breaking Bad is the second TV serious that I watched from beginning to end. Mad Men was my first. Although Breaking Bad is pretty badass, I still like Mad Men more because I can relate to advertising and drinking. I had never touched drugs and Breaking Bad has confirmed that I should never will. Both the writing and the cast are superb. Although I did not intended to finish it, I am glad I didn’t give up.
Despite his sweeping win in Wisconsin, Bernie Sanders still needs 57% of the delegates to secure the nomination. On the other hand, Hillary Clinton only needs 33%. At this point I am still with Clinton, but I will support Sanders of he gets the Democratic nomination.
As much as I appreciate Sanders’ inspiring movement, his radical changes are still not realistic. Eight years ago, we witnessed the promise of change and hope from Obama. Even though he had accomplished a great deal in his two terms, he didn’t make the radical changes that he hoped he could. The President alone cannot do much as we already seen in the past six years. The Republicans in the House and Senate blocked every move the president made. Even Obama acknowledged that he had learned his lessoned. He cannot change Washington completely. He had to do it in a progressive approach.
If Sanders wins, he will be facing the same roadblocks. We will be disappointed once again that he won’t be able to carry out his agendas. I completely understand how the young voters are feeling now because I was in their shoes eight years ago. Learning from experience, I prefer a candidate that has realistic views. Clinton is not promising what she cannot deliver, which makes her less popular than Sanders, but she is more convincing on the issues that she would like to accomplish.
Once again, my choice is still Clinton, but if Bernie wins, I rather vote for him than Donald Trump or Ted Cruz—the two divisive and dangerous candidates.
This review from The New Yorker seems to get the word mixed up. Daniel Wenger writes:

The poet name is Vương, which means king. Dương, on the other hand, is ocean.
I can’t wait to take the workshop on “Type Design for Non-Type Designers” with Matteo Bologna. My goal is to understand enough technical requirements so I can experimenting with creating diacritical marks for open-source typefaces that don’t have support for the Vietnamese language. I am hopeful that the workshop can help me with my goal.
A gift of $30 million dollars comes with more pundits. The acronyms were unfortunate even though they were unintended.
Yes, the jokes were on us and they had spread like wildfire on social media. The school has rearranged the words around a bit to avoid the awkward acronyms, but social media still hasn’t let it go. The tasteless jokes have detracted the attention away from the real issue, which is the Justice himself and what he stood for.
Love it or hate it, the humor has grabbed tons of attention from the media and they all reporting on the jokes rather than the issues. I don’t know if I should be proud or embarrassed to see my design featuring on so many media websites. Here are just a few:
When I first informed about the name change, which was only a few days before the official announcement, I was shocked, but I had to do my job. I was tasked to tweak the logo, create the new banners, and prepared the changes on the site. The jokes on the acronyms are so prominent that they have no room for the design. I am glad.
Mới đó mà Việt Xuân đã được tám tuần. Thằng nhóc dễ thương lắm. Mỗi lần được ba bế trong tay là ngủ rất ngon. Hai thằng anh lớn cũng thương em lắm. Nhất là anh Đán lúc nào cũng muốn hôn và bế em nhưng anh hơi mạnh tay một chút.
Đến Việt Xuân thì tôi không còn hứng thú chụp hình nhiều như hai đứa trước nhưng tôi ngắm nghía và để ý nó nhiều hơn. Lúc thằng Đán còn nhỏ gia đình xảy ra nhiều chuyện và rồi thời gian cũng trôi qua mau nên tôi cũng không nhớ nó nhiều. Tuy hằng ngày ở bên nó nhưng không phát hiện những tiến chuyển của nó. Bỗng một ngày phát hiện ra nó sổ sữa và to con.
Với thằng Xuân tôi để ý thấy nó thay đổi rất rỏ nét. Nó đã biết nghe và biết cười khi được bế và nói chuyện đến nó. Có con trai thì mệt lắm nhất là bây giờ. Tối nào thằng Đán cũng bắt tôi chơi khủng long và vật lộn với nó. Tôi với nó và thằng Đạo phải cắn nhau cho đến mười mấy hiệp trước khi đi ngủ. Tuy mệt lắm nhưng cũng có cái vui.
Khi thấy cả gia đình vui tươi mạnh khoẻ tôi lại muốn thêm một đứa nữa. Vợ thì ngán nhưng tôi thấy có ba hay bốn cũng không khác nhiều. Dỉ nhiên người cực khổ là vợ phải mang nặng đẻ đau nên tôi tôn trọng sự quyết định của vợ. Nhưng nếu được tôi thật sự muốn thêm đứa thứ tư không cần biết trai hay gái.
