Praise

Thanks to my man Tim for the compliments.

I am heading out early today to go home to see my family in Lancaster. Boy, I haven’t see them for ages. Can’t wait to see my little nephew. He must be really adorable. I also miss my little Sammy so much. How am I getting home? Good question. Obviously, not with my car. Although it all fixed but I am not taking any chances with it. I don’t want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere so I rented a car with Enterprise for $9.99 a day. Can’t beat that right? Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

A Few Gifts For My Homeland

Mot Chut Qua Cho Que Huong had been edited with English subtitles. This will help audiences understand the lyrics without knowing Vietnamese. Enjoy!

New Theme

Just finished another theme for iLoveNgocLan. She is simply spendor and we still love her dearly.

I finally let go of my computer. She was too much to deal with. She was replaced with a brand new G4. Although I prefer a G5, I am satisfied with what I have since they also gave me my old hard drive. Now I have 2 hard drives with 80 gigs. Yeah! I am happy although it is a pain to reinstall all the softwares and transfer the files.

Kernel Panic

After installing the Security Update in Mac OS X yesterday, I’ve been experiencing Kernel panic like crazy. I requested for a G5 but that won’t happen for the next 2 more years so I am hoping Panther will solve the problem. On top of that, some of the new features such as Exposé, Font Book and Fast User Switching are exciting. Beside all the promising features, this is another reason why Panther is so powerful. Can’t wait to grab it.

Some lady just walked by and complimented on the work we do. She commented the James Ransome banner looks great and the the sites in general are wonderful. She said we are doing a fantastic job and see that I am at work quite early. Isn’t it wonderful to be appreciated? Those kind words make me happy.

By the way, check out my today’s banner. Isn’t Sonia Sanchez luminous?

New Software

We are now rocking with Macromedia Studio MX 2004. Just done installing and exploring Dreamweaver. So far so good. I am so excited.

Geology and Geography

The Geology and Geography department website at Vassar get recoded. I stripped the entire site out of tables and replaced with CSS layout and XHTML structured. On top of that, I touched up the visual design and rearranged the layout to make it clean and attractive. We are currently in the process of retrofitting old sites by clean up codes, get rid of font tags, and reorganizing the layouts. This is where all my energy are devoting to. So much fun isn’t it? It would benefits the school and at the same time doesn’t make us (web designers) look bad so I am actually motivated by it

Inspiration

Baxley Design is clean and elegant. Gabe Kean, ex-designer at Second Story, launched his beautiful Flash portfolio with lovely background pattern. Lastly, check out the “A” Cut, the Sexy, the Boyfriend, the Curve, the Cargo, the Extreme, the Fray, and the Easy from Victoria’s Secret demin line. Which jean is your favorite? I like them all.

OK, I am heading out to Boston with my family but before I go, “Happy birthday dear Lele. Happy birthday to you!” You rock!

Links

We’re in the final stages of development of the Vassar’s new design and it would help tremendously to get your feedback.

Art Eyes made a come back slicker than ever. Watching Pirates to the Carribbean reminding me of Brittle Bones. Let’s head in the Lexus for some sexes. The new site is nice and smooth but the navigation is not working correctly on my Mac.

Provance

Joined Provance:Oh-Moi.net, a nice promoting community. The site is slick and sexy as well. Dodo rocks at php. Wish I have that much knowledge. Her new Grass theme is beautiful also.

Daily Juan is simple and clean with table-less design. Loan Chau is mad hot in ao dai (Vietnamese Long Dress). Check out her photos under calendars section. She is blazing from head to toe. Modulo 26 is simple and subtle with CSS and XHTML. Dvine Lotus is off the hook with exquisite graphics and great typography.

New Flash Work

After months of collect photos and finally motivated again by Ngoc Lan to create Mot Chut Qua Cho Que Huong. Feedback please!
