56 Books Read in 2015
Last year I read 56 books, which is 14 books less than 2014. I haven’t counted this year yet, but it is probably even less. My interest has changed drastically this year. I’ve read mostly non-fiction, but with a variety of topics. I haven’t read much on typography and web design.
I have been bouncing between four different branches of the Fairfax Public Library to pick up the latest releases they have. I no longer use the Mason library because I could no find books that I want to read. I wish I could subscribe to the latest books they acquired. I don’t know if they have something like that available to the public.
I am hoping to spark reading interest to my sons. Đạo seems to be interested in reading. He picks up his book to read when TV and iPads are off. My wife has successfully limited them to use iPad only on the weekends. It’s a bit of a challenge when his cousin is around. Đạo keep asking, “Why does Khôi get to use the iPad?” No matter what reason we give him, his next statement would be, “Nobody loves me.” It irritates the heck out of me when he uses that line.
