Obama vs. McCain Supporters
While Obama gets a world’s biggest supporter, McCain gets a bunch of seriously deranged supporters.

Obama is greatly overrated in my opinion, but the Obama-Biden ticket is not a capitulationist one, even if it does accept the support of the surrender faction, and it does show some signs of being able and willing to profit from experience. With McCain, the “experience” is subject to sharply diminishing returns, as is the rest of him, and with Palin the very word itself is a sick joke.
Obama is greatly overrated because McCain runs such a disgrace campaign and Palin is nothing but a joke. McCain and Palin handed me the Obama-Biden ticket after her RNC speech and the downright, dirty lies they played.
Sarah Palin’s reaction to the Legislature’s Troopergate report is an embarrassment to Alaskans and the nation.
She claims the report “vindicates” her. She said that the investigation found “no unlawful or unethical activity on my part.”
Her response is either astoundingly ignorant or downright Orwellian.
Autumn is here and nothing sets the mood better than the jazz standard “Autumn Leaves.” I am currently enjoying Sarah Vaugh’s amazing scat rendition followed by Wynton Marsalis’s blazing solo and a wonderful call and response between the two. Still, Cannonball Adderley’s version gets me every time, especially with Miles Davis blowing that gorgeous muted trumpet solo.
Boston Globe‘s “Obama for President“:
Now it seems prescient, as the nation confronts a financial crisis of historic proportions, as well as all the other policy failures and debt-fueled excesses of the last eight years. The United States has to dig itself out. Barack Obama is the one to lead the way.
Los Angeles Times‘s “Children of Vietnam War servicemen seek U.S. citizenship” gives a bit of background story on Randy Tran, the “sen” singer who used to sing with My Huyen. I’ve been wondering where has he been all these years.
In Virginia Beach rally, McCain-Palin supporters hold up signs that read “Obama Bin Layin’.” Apparently some republican still think Obama is a terrorist.
A spoof from Jay Smooth: “I’m John McCain and I just don’t care anymore.”
A McCain-Palin supporter holds a stuffed monkey with Obama’s name wrapped around his head and refers to him as “Little Hussein.” What even more disturbing is that no one from the crowd disapproved his action.
VNCR interviewed a man who married some girl in Viet Nam and ended up in an ugly divorce over monthly remittance for her family back home.
